If you are coming to Australia to do some bird watching, you are in for a treat! The good news is you won’t have to work too hard to see birds like cockatoos (galahs, sulphur crested, corella, etc.), lorikeets, and Ibis. As a bird enthusiast myself, I love that we can get up within a few feet of some of the birds, cockatoos especially, and really get a good look at them. (Hint: Ask around and find someone who feeds the birds and your eyes will pop out when you see the variety of bird life that we have.)

What’s really cool is that there is no shortage of places to go birdwatching. There are national parks all over Queensland and miles and miles of virtually deserted beaches where you can spot shorebirds. If you really want an adventure, you can head to the outback and see uncountable different species of birds. The best part is that all you need is a good pair of binoculars and transportation.

So, if you love birds, you will absolutely fall in love with Australia!

That’s about it for now!
